It is important that parents read the following information, as they form part of the contract with the nursery.
Our fees are fully inclusive of day-care from 8am to 6pm, as well as a two-course lunch, mid-morning and mid-afternoon drink and snack and a sandwich and cake tea.

Age of admittance
Children from the age of 3 months to 5 years will be admitted. Parents of children who need them must supply nappies, wipes and creams. For under 1’s parents must supply clean sterilised bottles and ready to feed milk.

Hours of Opening & Late Collections at 6pm
ABC Nursery is open Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, Fox House Day Nursery is open 7.45am to 6pm.
All children must be collected from the nursery by 6pm. Not only has your child had a long day, but also staff are entitled to finish their day on time. Whilst we appreciate that delays can be unavoidable, to cover our costs caring for children when parents are late, we reserve the right to charge £10.00 for every 15 minutes, or part 15 minutes. At 6.30pm, the charge rises to £15.00 for every 15 minutes. Late collection charges must be paid on the day to the members of staff who stayed late. After 1 hour of the setting closing if a child has not been collected by a responsible adult and we have not been able to contact the parent we contact our local authority children’s social care team.

The nursery closes at 1pm on the last working day before Christmas and re-opens on the first working day after New Year. Please ensure you check the parent notice board for any changes or planned INSET training days where the setting closes. Fees are calculated throughout the year to incorporate these closures; therefore all fees remain the same for each month unless otherwise notified.

Late collections at 1pm
Late collections of morning children will be charged at £5.00 per 30 minutes or part 30 minutes. Minimum charge £5.00. If a child is still present at 2pm a full afternoon session will be charged.

Fees are payable monthly in advance on the 1^st of every month. Fees can be paid by standing order or cash. Fees are calculated calendar monthly (weekly fee x 52 / 12). There is a late payment penalty scheme in place. Details of which are available from the nursery. Fees are payable irrespective of absence. The nursery is open 51 weeks of the year, closing for Bank Holidays, up to 3 training days and the week in between Christmas and New Year. Fees are payable for the year including Bank Holidays and when the nursery is closed.

Arrears in fees may result in the nursery terminating your child’s space with immediate effect.

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your child’s space at Nursery. This is one month’s fees, which will then be taken off your first invoice. A holding fee of £200.00 is payable on your child’s first day. This will be refunded in full when your child leaves the nursery, providing all fees are up to date and one months notice in writing has been received.
